Waxing is a popular method of removing unwanted hair quickly and efficiently. It is very easy to control the application of the warm wax making it ideal for facial hair removal.
Warm wax is applied to the skin in a very thin layer using a spatula. A fabric or paper strip is then pressed on the waxed area and removed quickly causing minimum discomfort.
Larger areas can be waxed at once
It is suitable fo most hair types fine and coarse
It can remove strong deep rooted hairs successfully
Hair re-growth is finer
Lasts for 4 - 6 weeks
Over a period of time and regular waxing treatments the hair becomes weaker and may eventually stop growing
Aftercare to be followed for a period of 24 hours
AVOID application of HEAT to the waxed area for 12 to 24 hours. This includes hot baths, sauna and steam baths. AVOID applying highly FRAGRANCED products to the waxed area. This includes perfume, scented body lotions, anti-perspirants, cosmetics or feminine hygiene sprays. AVOID using HARSH ABRASIVES or exfoliators in the waxed area. AVOID SUNBATHING for 12 to 24 hours after waxing. This includes any strong UV light exposure or sun bed treatments. AVOID application of self tanning products for up to 24 hours.
Homecare to be followed after 24 hours
Exfoliate once or twice a week is recommended to promote fresher, healthier looking skin and also helps prevent in-growing hairs.
Body scrubs, exfoliating mitts and even a simple nail brush can be used.
Use moisturizers on a daily basis to help keep your skin looking young and fresh.
Any REDNESS of the skin should disappear within 6 to 8 hours after the waxing treatment. Slight redness is normal and indicates that the hair was removed from the root; rather than superficially broken off, as in shaving. A soothing product can be applied to the area to accelerate the healing process.
For BEST RESULTS repeat your professional waxing every 4 to 6 weeks. Because the hair growth rate is different on each person, you may need to come in before or after the 4 to 6 week time period.
